ANTIQUE 1737 ENGLISH STERLING SILVER SALT CELLAR
Set of two.
Full English hallmarks on bottom. The date letter b for 1737, a leopard’s head for city of London, a running lion for England sterling silver mark, and I * S for maker’s mark. Also stamped W F, probably for a retailer.
Excellent condition. No dings, dents or monogram.
The rim diameter is 2.25″. The body diameter is 2.5″. Total weight 146.4 grams.
