The barrels of these beautiful writing instruments are made from especially hard-wearing materials. Piece by piece, a grain guilloche is engraved using a method normally used for jewelery or silver accessories. The barrel is then refined by hand-lacquering and polishing. All metal parts have a high-quality rhodium plating. The pocket clip is spring-mounted.
The ballpoint is a twist-action retractable model supplied with a high-capacity standard pattern refill in black.
The twist-action propelling pencil uses strong 0.7mm lead, supplied as grade B, and contains a reservoir for spare leads. Under the end cap is a replaceable white eraser. All Graf von Faber-Castell writing instruments are supplied in luxury presentation boxes.
